How the Daily Word Game works

There is one deterministic puzzle for the day, so reopening the page on the same date gives the same answer. You have up to six guesses. Use the color feedback from each row to narrow down the hidden word.

Tips

Start with a word containing several common vowels and different consonants. Avoid repeating grey letters unless you have a reason to test a repeated character.

This development edition uses the MesraTools curated seed word list. The production word list should be expanded only with appropriately licensed or open word data.

Daily Word Demo

Start with a balanced first guess containing common vowels and consonants. After each guess, use the feedback to keep confirmed letters, move misplaced letters and avoid letters already ruled out.

How to use the result

Treat each row as evidence. Green/confirmed positions should stay fixed; present-but-misplaced letters should move; absent letters should normally be avoided unless duplicate-letter rules justify another copy.

Tip: start with the least restrictive input, review the candidates, then add one filter at a time. This makes it easier to understand why a word was included or excluded.

What this tool does

This MesraTools Word function runs locally against the configured word dataset and gives immediate browser-based results. It is intended for learning, puzzle assistance and word exploration.

Limitations

The current development package does not claim a complete tournament or dictionary authority. Word validity can vary between dictionaries, regions and individual game rules.

Mesra Word Guide

Use this tool effectively

Start with what you know

Enter the strongest known letters, positions or length first. Narrow inputs normally produce more useful candidates.

Try the example

Use this page’s worked demo before replacing it with your own letters so you can see how the controls affect results.

Interpret carefully

A candidate satisfies the current MesraTools filters and development word data; it is not automatically accepted by every commercial word game.

Choose the right helper

Use Word Solver for combined filters, Anagram Solver for rearranging letters, and Pattern Finder when known positions matter most.
