Tempo Evidence Analyzer
Estimate likely BPM candidates from transient timing while exposing ambiguity instead of declaring a guaranteed tempo.
Choose a browser-decodable audio file.
How it works
The analyzer first finds candidate transients, measures nearby onset intervals, folds interval-derived BPM values into a bounded range, and ranks integer BPM candidates by votes.
Interpretation
Tempo estimation can confuse half-time and double-time, and music without regular attacks may produce weak evidence. Treat the leading BPM as a candidate to verify by listening or against a known grid—not as authoritative beat tracking.
Privacy
This Build 118 workflow uses browser decoding and analysis; the selected file is not intentionally uploaded by this tool.
Limitations
Results are analytical evidence, not a mastering certificate, forensic conclusion, musical transcription, or guaranteed semantic interpretation. Browser decoding support varies by format.
