Sample-Peak Timeline Exporter
Measure the maximum decoded sample magnitude inside consecutive time windows and export CSV or JSON.
What this tool does
This tool produces a time-series view of sample peaks. It is useful for locating sections that repeatedly approach full scale, but it is not an inter-sample true-peak meter and not a loudness timeline.
How it works
The browser decodes the selected audio and the calculation runs locally. The tool operates on decoded PCM samples, validates its numeric settings, and reports or exports only the result described above.
How to interpret the result
Use the result as technical evidence for this specific measurement or transformation. Do not treat it as an automatic quality score. Compare the result with your intended publishing, editing or analysis workflow.
Limitations
Browser codec support varies. Decoded PCM does not preserve every property of the source container. This tool does not claim certified metering, mastering, forensic analysis or AI restoration unless explicitly stated.
Privacy
Processing stays in your browser for this tool. The page does not intentionally upload the selected file.
FAQ
Is the original file modified? No. Any audio output is a new 16-bit PCM WAV or a TAR containing WAV files. Are source tags preserved? No. Generated WAV files do not preserve the original container metadata.
