Silence mode generates zero-amplitude PCM samples. It is useful for spacing, placeholders and test workflows.
Room tone
Room-tone mode repeats a selected portion of the source recording. Choose a clean region containing only the desired ambience.
Limitations
The room-tone foundation is a simple loop and can reveal seams or repetition. It is not ambience synthesis, spectral texture matching, seamless granular filling, dereverberation or AI inpainting.
Recommended workflow
Choose a stable section without speech, music or transient noises and keep generated fills short. Listen for loop repetition before using the result.

Processing is local in your browser. Export is a newly generated 16-bit PCM WAV; original tags/artwork are not preserved.
