Onset-Assisted Loop Suggestions
Rank candidate loop ranges using transient timing, heuristic BPM evidence and simple boundary-discontinuity evidence.
Choose a browser-decodable audio file.
How suggestions are produced
The tool detects transient candidates, estimates a likely BPM, assumes the selected beats-per-bar value, then searches onset pairs close to 1, 2, 4 or 8 assumed bars. It also includes a small boundary-discontinuity measurement to rank candidates.
How to interpret a candidate
A high-ranked range is only a useful place to audition. Half-time/double-time ambiguity, pickup notes, swing, rubato, live timing, weak attacks and compression can all shift the result. Listen before using a suggestion and fine-tune the boundaries if necessary.
What it does not do
Build 119 does not perform downbeat detection, musical-key matching, phrase understanding, spectral loop matching, automatic crossfade optimization, or proof that a loop will be seamless.
Privacy and processing
This Build 119 workflow decodes and processes the selected file in the browser. It does not intentionally upload the audio to MesraTools.
Important limitations
Threshold segments and transient/tempo evidence are editing aids. They do not establish speaker identity, musical structure, exact beats, legal/forensic authenticity, mastering quality, or guaranteed seamless loop points.
