Audio Fade In & Fade Out
Apply adjustable linear fades to the beginning and end of a decoded audio file and export a new WAV.
How fades work
Build 104 applies a linear amplitude ramp from silence to full level at the beginning and from full level to silence at the end. This is a simple deterministic fade, not a crossfade between two clips.
When to use it
Fades can soften abrupt starts and endings, reduce clicks around hard edits and create smoother speech or music exits. For very short clips, keep fade durations modest so they do not consume most of the useful audio.
Limitations
This build does not provide logarithmic/equal-power curves, automation envelopes or multi-track crossfades. WAV export preserves decoded sample rate/channel count but not source tags or artwork.
