Audio Channel Repair / Replace
Replace one damaged stereo channel with a copy of the other channel and export a dual-mono WAV.
What it does
This emergency utility replaces an unusable left or right channel with an exact copy of the surviving channel.
Important consequence
The result is not restored stereo. Both channels contain the same source signal, so original stereo width, localization and independent channel information are lost.
When it helps
Use it when one channel is silent, severely damaged or unusable and retaining the surviving content in both output channels is preferable to leaving one side broken.
Limitations
This is not source separation, stereo reconstruction, ambience synthesis, phase repair or AI channel recovery.
