Audio to WAV Converter

Convert a browser-decodable audio source to standard 16-bit PCM WAV. The conversion is local to your browser.

Why convert to WAV?

WAV PCM is broadly compatible with editors, archiving workflows and audio software. It stores uncompressed samples, so files are larger than MP3/AAC but avoid adding another lossy compression stage.

Important quality note

Converting MP3/AAC to WAV does not improve the original fidelity. It only changes the storage format after decoding. Use WAV when compatibility or further editing matters; keep the original compressed file too.

Supported sources

Source support depends on your browser's decoder. MesraTools does not claim every codec listed by file extension will work on every device.
